The new Decision integrated and updated the restrictive measures from Articles 2-3a of Common Position 2001/931/CFSP into a single instrument, adding new measures and extending asset‑freezing powers. The Decision reproduced the substance of Articles 1–3a of the Common Position while repealing those provisions. The Decision also confirmed the continued listing of all persons and entities in Annex I, while repealing Decisions (CFSP) 2025/1577 and 2026/421.
