On 24 June 2024, the Council of the European Union adopted Decision (CFSP) 2024/1795 amending Decision 2011/235/CFSP. Decision 2024/1795 introduces humanitarian exceptions from the restrictive measures directed against certain persons and entities in view of the situation in Iran
