On 16 December 2022, the Council adopted Regulation (EU) 2022/2474, which amended Council Regulation (EU) No 833/2014 (2) and introduced further restrictive measures to suspend the broadcasting activities in the Union, or directed at the Union, of certain media outlets referred to in Annex V to Regulation (EU) 2022/2474.
Having examined the respective cases, the Council has concluded that the restrictive measures referred to in Article 2f of Regulation (EU) No 833/2014 should apply from 1 February 2023 in respect of all entities referred to in Annex V to Regulation (EU) 2022/2474.
